  • Do you offer driving lessons for teenagers?

    Level Up Driving Academy provides behind-the-wheel training for teen drivers aged 15 years and 6 months, when they get their permit. The teen program consists of seven driving sessions and seven observation sessions, with each session running 50 minutes in length. The licensing course is a 50 minute long driving session, and another 50 minutes in observation. But driving lessons follow our hour packages which we recommend 1.5 -2 hours per session. 

  • What does a teen need before starting behind-the-wheel training?

    Teen students are required to hold a valid Virginia learner's permit, fulfill the mandatory driver education course, complete the 90-minute parent/teen course, and maintain their permit for the state-required duration before beginning behind-the-wheel training.

  • Can students receive their license after completing the course?

    Eligible teen students may obtain their driver's license upon successful completion of the required behind-the-wheel program and satisfaction of all Virginia DMV requirements.

  • Do you offer lessons for first-time drivers?

    Level Up Driving Academy offers instruction for first-time drivers who require individualized, patient training. The lessons focus on building confidence, establishing safe driving practices, and helping students develop comfort behind the wheel.

  • Do you offer refresher driving lessons?

    Refresher lessons are provided for drivers seeking to strengthen their skills, rebuild confidence, or improve their ability to navigate traffic, execute parking maneuvers, change lanes safely, and manage common driving situations.

  • Are your instructors DMV-certified?

    All instructors at Level Up Driving Academy hold DMV certification and deliver instruction with an emphasis on patience, safety, and individualized student needs. Training takes place in dual-control vehicles to ensure maximum safety.

  • Do you offer free pickup and drop-off?

    Level Up Driving Academy includes complimentary pickup and drop-off service from home, school, or work for qualified driving lessons. This service is incorporated into the course cost.

  • What languages do your instructors speak?

    Level Up Driving Academy provides instruction in several languages, including English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.

  • What should I bring to my first lesson?

    Students must bring payment, a copy of their learner's permit, and a completed school contract to their first lesson. Students aged 17 or younger must also provide a parent or guardian signature on the contract. Students also need the pink card / drivers education certificate if taking behind the wheel licensing courses (Adult waiver or teen behind the wheel).

  • How much do driving lessons cost?

    Individual hourly lessons and discounted packages are available for refresher and first-time driving instruction. Rates begin at $65 per hour, with packages offered for 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 hours. Teen behind-the-wheel training is priced at $350. Please note, the 65$ per hour is only for our refresher courses only as we don't offer one hour sessions for new drivers.
